How You Can Help!

Raise Money for NAMA When You Shop

iGive is an organization on the Web that
helps charities and organizations like NAMA.  Basically the idea is that
you sign up for your favorite charity and we hope you will choose NAMA and whenever you
need to purchase something you can go to their mall.

The iGive Mall has just about every
major store on the internet from J.C. Penny to Home Depot. When you need to purchase
something for your computer or office the iGive Mall is a great place to go. And they also
have speciality stores that you may not be familiar with so if you have to get a gift for
someone try iGive first.

As a member of iGive not only does a small percentage of your
purchase go to NAMA but you will get special discounts..

It takes less than a
minute to register and NAMA GETS $1 FOR EACH.

AND

IF YOU SHOP WITHIN 45 DAYS OF REGISTERING NAMA GETS $5
+ A PERCENTAGE OF YOUR PURCHASE.

Go to http://www.igive.com to sign
up.

Volunteer for Methadone Advocacy or NAMA

There is so much to do. Just imagine what could happen if every one of the 180,000 methadone patients did something for methadone advocacy. Yes you can volunteer for NAMA and we can find something for you but the point is we don’t care if your volunteer for NAMA or any other organization as long as it is working towards the goal of helping other patients and making things better.

Let our Volunteer Coordinator, Maureen Neville of Massachusetts NAMA give you some ideas. To go to the Volunteer Page Click Here

And Join NAMA

Joining NAMA keeps us working for you. Think of your NAMA dues like the dues that you pay for your union. NAMA protects your civil rights and helps individual patients. NAMA does a lot of work behind the scenes so very often you don’t know that NAMA is there protecting your civil rights and making sure that your treatment is there and getting better.

In fact NAMA depends on you for support since we don’t receive funding elsewhere. The point is that if you don’t support NAMA someday you may need NAMA but we won’t be there because not enough people supported NAMA. Keeping the phone lines and other necessities for an international organization costs money. The projects we undertake like the Grievance Report or networking the chapters and affiliates all costs money. We have tried vary hard to keep Membership Dues low so everyone can pay. So please think of your NAMA membership and paying dues annually as a responsibility and a way to give back.

And when you do pay your membership dues won’t you consider a small donation.
