Honorary Patient Recognition

The Honorary Methadone Patient was developed by the National Alliance of Methadone Advocates to recognize those special persons who are not patients but in addition to making significant contributions to the field do so to help patients.

Dr. Payte is the fourth to be recognized as an “Honorary Methadone Patient”. The three persons who have received the title are Drs. Dole, Nyswander and Joseph.


Therefore, For many years of recognized service to methadone patients worldwide
The National Alliance of Methadone Advocates
confers the title of “Honorary Methadone Patient” to
Dr. J. T. Payte.
