I'm so thankful that candidates for the U.S. Presidency are starting to talk about addiction and how FAR too few people access treatment! Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton has proposed specific funding for treatment and to confront the growing addiction epidemic, and she mentions the stats that only 1 in 10 (it's technically 11%) folks who deal with addiction get treatment --- and even FEWER actually get EVIDENCE BASED treatment.

But either way, I'm thankful our candidates are starting to talk about this! Maybe since Secretary Clinton has raised the issue other candidates will begin to discuss it as well!
