This is exactly what I was talking about in the last thread. In effect judges are practicing medicine without a license and they are killing people in the process. This poor gentleman lost his son.

Let's stop this happening all over the US, so no more of our sons and daughters are lost to the stigma and bias of judges who in reality know next to nothing about substance use treatment.

Heart breaking! NO ONE without a "MD" or a "DO" behind their name should be making medical decisions about treatment for ANY health condition! I hope the father/family will sue, but many times they want to be left alone to grieve.

Yes, I too hope they will sue, as that will set a legal precedent for other families that might find themselves in this awful situation.
